hi
make sure its the CAS first that need replacing CAS = crank angle sensor as read from gregorys manual 1 going to need to remove the crankshaft pulley ( will need a puller to do it) 2 once pulley off disconect the wiring from the CAS 3 insert screwdriver behind the sheild adjacent the retaining studs and gradually lever the sheild from the timing cover 4 remover the retaining bolts and remove the CAS 5 check the interruptor blades at the rear of the crankshaft pulley for dammage and signs of contact with the CAS . renew the pulley assembley as necessarry i know when i did my sons VN CAS we used a socket and a big breaker bar then flicked the inginiton to turn the motor to undo the big bolt on the cranlshaft pulley not sure about the vt to remove the cranlshaft pulley need to undo the big bolt first ( thats the pain in the ass bit ) remove the pulley using a homonic balance pulley remover good luck
