vr to vs cluster?

will a vr commodore instrument cluster work in a vs commodore? mine given up and the only ones i can find at wreckers are vr's

Hey mate, I'm sure it will work, the cars are
the same except for the badge and motor, I'm sure it's the same
if you were to change a VT, to a VX.
