Greetings from a new forum member!
My name is Mick and I found out about the club at the Shannons' Wheels day in Canberra last weekend. Impressive display! I'm from the ACT and although I'm in the Navy and go away occasionally my family and I are now firmly based here. My ride is a VR ClubSport replica that is finally about to be back on the road after two long years. Paint's not great but I can't wait to drive her again so I don't care! Looking at becoming a full member soon, so look forward to meeting as many of you as possible, especially fellow Canberrans!

Thanks for the welcome guys and gals! Unfortunately I won't be able to make the Maitland run as a) Roxanne (that's my car!) won't be ready and b) we leave for Melbourne around then for ANZAC day (yes, I'm originally a Victorian.)

Have a few mates from here NSW who go for runs to the snowy mountains , down your way , as the roads downs there are great ! so they say .

Hey Wazza, funny you should mention the Snowy's as my wife and I were there two weekends ago! The roads are cool, though pretty boring in my wife's Falcon S'wagon.Watch out for the wombats though, especially at night!
