loose horn wire ?

Hi, I was replacing my horn contacs [on the steering wheel ] on my VS commy and accidently dislodged the purple wire that goes through the steering wheel and conects up somewere behind the steering wheel.

I have taken the steering wheel off to have a better look but can't see were that purple wire conects up to [ it has a spade connection on it ], I can see the black wire is soldered onto the brass plate but i am stumped to were the purple wire goes.

Should go to the plus side of the horn button ?the other splade on steering wheel.

Thanks mate for your reply, for tha sake of anyone else needing help, I finished up going to the wreckers and having a look for myself, the purple wire just fits into a slot on the front side of the actual steering wheel, the smallest hole, that was the problem, mine had fell through that slot which made me think it was connected up behind the steering wheel.
The black wire is soldered to the brass plate at the back of the steering wheel.

easy once you know what goes were.
