Fitting VE side indicators to earlier models

Hi just wondering if any1 has done this to their commodore yet? Wondering if u try to modify a VE quarter panel, try to re-shape original panel or cut inset section of VE quarter and weld it to original?

i have seen the indicator and grille part of the front gaurd of a VE on a VX in inverell
my understanding is it was aftermarket and didnt look as good as i expected it to ill try find some photos for ya

yea ive seen them on a vt but from a distance, the indicators are champhered so the quard kinda has to have an inset in it
