Friday night cruise 12/03/2010

Hi everyone,

One of the guys from JC are organising a cruise for next friday night (12/03/2010) and I told him I'd re-post it up here as well. Good thing he did, means that I didn't have to do anything this time LOL

Here's the details:

CRUISE: Friday 12th March

Hey Guys, new to this stuff so feel free to add anything
Cruise next Friday, March 12.
Meet Point Lake Burley Griffin Northside Carpark (near regatta point, but feel free to suggest other meet point)
Meet Time between 7:30-8.
From there we'll discuss where to go etc.
If someone has a good camera let us know if u can bring it along to get some snaps.
Let us know if your in

As far as I know this will be his first cruise ever as he has only just got his licence, so if we could get a good club showing like we usually do that would be awesome!! LOL

I'll send the usual SMS out as well for all those who are not quite computer ready :rofl:

I wish I could make it but I will be at work till around 23:30...Not sure if my old man will make it also, I passed it onto him and there is a 40% chance he will turn up

Hmm might have to bail after today's efforts lol. Was going down a driveway which I could only go straight out and went something like...
*Huge Scrape*... "Oh shit that couldn't of been good"... *Accelerate*... *Hear loud exhaust, think it is car behind me*... *Realise its me*... "shit".
Long story short I ripped by exhaust in half So... trying not to drive more than necessary.

We lost most of the other cars. We seen the black VE go one way, then another car go the other way. We just cruised home after that.

Black VE had to bail coz of something going spastic in the front corner - I called over the radio that we were going like 4 times and no one answered.

AND THAT is a good reason why we strongly suggest everyone has a radio or someone's phone number LOL

In the future, if you get seperated feel free to ring me on 0403 325 373 and I'm sure we'll be able to sort you out on the right path....

Other than that, I had an awesome night & didn't crawl in my door until around 2:30 ish am LOL

Do you not print out 'cruise sheets' or is it a 'wing it' type of thing?
Cruise sheets are always a good back up, with a mobile phone number included on it.

yeah when we get to geather we just wing it most nights so yeah but still it was a good night and yeah didnt crawl through the door till like 2ish

These are not offical cruises & are more along the lines of casual get togethers, hence why we have guys from other sites & different people organising things :) no plan, no route, no idea until we move LOL but we usually end up at the same places LOL

But having a radio sure does help things (hint hint hint).......
