hey guys,

i got the sv6 so it doesnt have the DVD player in the front. i was just curious to know if i got those headrest dvd players with the slave player it should still work fine?

has anyone installed aftermarket ones in their cars? if so where did you buy them from? ive found these online.. tell me what you think.

The thing you have to be careful with when buying stuff like this, is that it actually might not fit. The width between the adjusting poles on the headrests could possibly be different then the VE's.

The headrest comes with an adjustable slider pole set up so they will fit different widths.
The only thing you need to be careful of are the adaptor lead plugs into your system some are taiwanese and the fittings dont fit normal 3 din plugs. You need to go to auto electricians to fit if this is the case. Hope this helps..........

ill definitely be getting them installed professionally as i have no prior knowledge with electronics.. (except how to use my hair straightener lmao)

Good onya Jaycee, they are not hard to install if the connections are compatabile with your system.Dont be scared.....You pull the headrests out slip in the new dvd headrests run the cable down through the seats and power up.
If i need my hair straighten though i will give you a call.........LMAO

where abouts will the Cords go to tho? i dont have a DVD player installed in my car..? will they run to the front headunit anyway?..

Yeah they will run to your head unit it is only to power the dvd head rest monitors, and speakers if you want to use the car speakers or you can use the headrest speakers as well seperate then the car system.
