ULTIMATE BROCK CRUISE – Peter Champion Brock Museum Yeppoon QLD
Club Commodore Australia is hosting a cruise in August 2010 to Yeppoon Queensland to visit the Peter Champion Brock museum and would like to invite Club Commodore Australia Members and their “invited quest” to participate.
TRAVEL & ACCOMODATION
The cruise will be departing Saturday the 14th August 2010 and will arrive home in Sydney on Sunday the 22nd August 2010. The cruise will consist of 3 days travel to Yeppoon, 3 days stay at Yeppoon and 3 days return travel to Sydney. It is estimated that the cruise will travel along the Leichhardt Highway to Yeppoon with nightly stay overs at Goondiwindi and Banana and return via the coastal highway with stay over to be advised. Whilst at Yeppoon the group will be staying at the Discovery Holiday Parks Capricorn Coast Wilden Way QLD. Members are welcomed to make their own arrangement on the return trip if they wish to extend there trip for a personal holiday.
MUSEUM VISIT
In visiting the museum Club Commodore Australia is looking at 2 packages. The type of package Available will be determined by the number participating on the cruise.
A – Package Minimum 20 people
Guided tour by Peter Champion himself
Dinner with Peter Champion on the race track within the museum
Venue closed to all but CCA
Sound and Light show
Sit within and Start some of the cars
Videos from Peter’s private collection played during dinner
Complimentary cap, stubby holder and key ring
B – Package No Minimum
Guided tour by Peter Champion himself
Light refreshments - Hand food with Peter Champion
Venue opened to public
Sound and Light show
Complimentary cap, stubby holder and key ring
COST
Entry to the museum for either package A or B $150.00
Accommodation for the 8 nights estimated at a total of $500.00 on a twin share basis.
Additional cost - Fuel and food
DEPOSITThose wishing to attend the cruise will be required to make a non refundable deposit of $150.00 into CCA bank account. The deposit will be used to secure the venue for Wednesday the 18th August 2010
