A devoted wife goes into the hospital to visit her husband after his surgery that day.
As she sits beside his bed, worrying over him, he begins to stir from the anaesthetic.
"hello dear' she says.
"Hi beautiful" he replies. Then quickly drops off into a deep sleep again.
A while later he wakes again.
"hello dear" she says.
"Hello honey" is his reply.
"But what happened to 'hi beautiful'?
And his reply???
"The drugs are starting to wear off".
My .... what a lovely man he is!!
