Satin Silver could work, or possibly the same orange thats used on the flames. Dunno if that would work well with the rest of the bay though

Looks great! Nice work. Another thing you could do as a little extra touch, replace the guard bolts with chrome allen key screws with chrome washers. On ebay, you can pick up a set of anodized gas struts for the bonnet. Im pretty sure they come in different colours.

Nothing beats attention to detail. Probably the hardest part, getting the minor details spot on and making sure everything ties in nicely. By the way, compliance plates look awesome!. Yellow and chrome is a perfect mixture (i might be biased though :p lol)
What metal polish do you use Kim?

heres what i use under the bonnet for all my cleaning ( see next newsletter for tips )

for the compliance plate i only used the purple polish ( 10 minutes work max) for the rest
i use three types when starting of autosol to get rid of the heavy stuff then miguires metal polish get it looking good then california custom purple polish to get a real bling once i have polished item then its just the purple polish to keep it blingy
the guard bolts are on the agenda already and yes yellow and chrome and black are the best colours not being biased LOL
Looks sweet Kim. Busy polishing your nuts hey?
LOL yes thats what i told helen one day i was polishing my nuts
the best thing a dremel drill is good for it take longer to remove the nut and change the tool bit than to polish the nut
i use a wire wheel with autosol to get rid of crap then polish wheel with purple polish to polish the nut / bolt
will put up tips in next nesletter
i feel like Ester using a new tool and seeing what else i can polish with it
thanks for all the comments
