Hey Danny, why not give our sponsor Penrith City Exhaust a call and get a quote for comparison. Ask for Eddie and tell him Club Commodore referred you, he'll look after you.

Matt

Speaking about exhausts...I'm not to familiar with exhausts but my VT V6 has 2 1/2 inch exhaust and i notice it has a muffler in between.... this might sound dumb but does straight through 2 1/2 inch mean there is no muffler?

My last SS had tri-y's, thru 1 cat & into a single 3" system with 2 mufflers & was at least 10db's over the legal limit when it was cold, closer to 20 when it was nice a warm.

I'd hate to test it when I was running it straight out of the extractors LOL

yeah straight through prob would be way to loud....i want my exhaust to sound different though, not just a typical VT with a 2 and half inch exhaust you know? aparently 3' sounds like crap....would twin exhaust sound crappy?

If you are putting a straight through exhaust guy's just remember your performance and economy may suffer you need back pressure if your cars are standard. its ok if you have plenty of performance work done to your motor but its just a thought you can do what ever you like its your car make it sound the way you want it.....

I was having a hard think about it and i think im gonna stick to my 2 and half exhaust sports... it does sound ok..and its not too loud for the cops to pick up, I might start doing some engine work to make it louder through the motor as well not just the exhaust

Sounds like you have made a good decision there. What have you done to the engine a good start will be a set of extractors to match your exhaust, k & n panel filter to let it breath and see how that sounds and goes.

yeh well the air filter will probably be the next thing to go on..

then i'll save up for a decent set of extractors.. ;)

doesnt matter what you do, you'll never match the power of your brothers rocket ship. Camry power FTW

You would probably be looking at around $1800 plus for the full system installed.
