This would normally feel like a stupid question but.... Where are the fuses for my park lights? My parkers are gone and new bulbs didnt fix it so fuses are my next check point but I cant find fuses for parkers anywhere. Hi low beams LH RH head lights, fog lights and tail lights are all there on the fuse board under the hood but no bloody parker lights. I didnt look too hard for an in line fuse but wouldnt now where to look to be honest. Im not sure how the parkers work as they are on the end of a long rod with no obvious electrical contacts as if to suggest no power supply. I cant find anything in the manual either.
Its strange as I was pulled over for a breath test (long and unfair story in itself) and when I blew 0 (havnt drank for a few months now not 1 beer) a senior copper came up and got the others to "go over his(my) vehicle and check his parkers". They other cops did so but with reserve and a look of contempt for the senior cop with a huge hair lip scar. It was day time and my lights were off. Why straight for parkers? He didnt find anything wrong but gave me a funny maybe suspisious look. so when I got home I checked my lights and found no parkers. How did he miss them after making such a point of checking my parkers? How or why did he know to check my parkers specifically? why did they pull me over and make me wait for a place in the breatho que while waving others around me and through before me.
I caught up with a senior unmarked driver at work the other day and mentioned the situation to him. He told me the guy with the scar was a bit of a dick. I told him that next time that cop brings in a psych patient or another time wasting (for cops to sit and baby sit nutters waiting in triage drives them nuts) job into ED Ill be too busy all shift to relieve him so he can be stuck all shift and have to crawl to my bosses to organise his release. HA HA HA!! The officer I told this too laughed his head off and said that he would do the same and thats why emergency services people look after each other and so when ever I get pulled over In ACT to let them Know I work At the hospital and ill be let off (within reason) with a " you should know better".
Either way how do I fix my lights?
