The new COOLVS

Well as some of you know COOLVS had some bad luck last week
anyway i finally decided to keep the car off the road and maybe one day rebuild.
Monday night after a few hours searching i brought a new VS to cruise around in its pretty much standard
it has tinted windows and rear spoiler thats pretty much it
im picking it up friday night so will post some pics on sunday
i have a pic here hope ya all like

thanx all im very surprised with the condition of the car its straight no dents what so ever. goes like a dream really really smooth to drive.
not sure with mods yet but definately will put my 18's on eventually lower it put in a sound system do a couple of small mods to engine
not sure of next cruise i will get too but hopefully soon

started installing the stereo system over the weekend and put the oversized throttle body on thats bout it for now
next month or so it should have the staty dash in and door trims
goin to get quotes as well for lowered suspension and exhaust system very soon so i can decide on whats best

car finally has the grange door trims on and caprice dash
got some COOL items today that should make the car look more COOL lol
i scored the lower lip spoilers off an SS and the side skirts
also included is the boot with the lip spoiler on that not sure whether to use that or the spoiler already on it
so picking them up next friday get them home buy some paint and spray them then put them on and then we have a COOL VS lol post some pics up soon

picked up the skirts today they are pretty good front needs a bit of repair also scored 2 clear guard indicators what a difference they have made and also scored a set of chrome window surrounds minus one drivers side rear door mould unfortunately
so pretty happy with that lot

nice and clean same colour as my vs have 70mil thottlebody/pacemaker extractors/lukey performance exhaust with twin outlets out back/vt champ mags/nexon 3000 low profile boots/hsv enhanced/am posting photos soon /may give you some idears /regards norm/neat vs

this weekend the next stage will happen with lowering the car it will be dropped 2 inches at the front and the back i think is the same or its 1 1/2 inch lower
also got some new clear tailights for her too i will def put pics up on sunday when this stage is done
i would say then the next stage after that is putting the 18's back on the car
then its bodykit time lol

Door trims look sweet ;) they look like they are from Statesman? Statemans came with a chrome strip on top of the door trims like in the pic provided. Chrome window seals and chrome door handles would look great :D

yeah mate they came off a statesman grange
i will be gettin those strips and door handles eventually im just focusing on the exterior atm

decided to do some work with the sound system
i just purchased 2 12" 800w pioneer subs in a box and a 1000w pioneer monoblock amp
should be gettin a new head unit shortly as well

Hey mate! Can't believe I just looked at this one-damn nice ride!! Love that colour-I was going to paint my old HR that colour years ago, but my mother in law stole the idea and painted her HZ wagon the same colour! Oh well, I'll just have to drool over yours now!!

thanx pusser yeah i agree the colour is awesome. Dont see many around in that colour
unfortunately mine is starting to go a bit milky on top so looks like a respray for the roof boot and bonnet just to tidy it up more
i would say a bodykit in the not too far distant future is on the cards
still havent decided yet
i have an SS one sitting here but im also toying the idea of a VX kit as well
