Hey all. Had a good day today and thank you to Ben and Ian for coming along. Well after the sound off I came home winning an encouragement award(a pioneer shirt and a $50 gift voucher at BDL car stereo) for my SPL runs. I put out a highest reading of 133.7dbs and was fairly consistent with all 4 runs. I finished 3rd in my class, 2nd was 135.4db's and 1st was 139.9dbs. I finished 8th in class in sound quality. I learned a few more things to do so at the next one, which is the 16th of August, I can do better. I took a few pics of some of the cars that were there. I forgot to take some of my own car though so sorry for that.

It was a good day. Shame some prizes went to brand and shop displays but a good turn out and decent crowd none the less.

Thanks guys and girls. Great to hear such support. I have on lay-by a new 2000 watt amp to drive 2 new 12inch subs so hopefully I'll have them in by the next one. Then I'll have more of a chance! As you said though Matt, some serious dollars are spent. When you hear the sound quality though you can see why. New subs is just for SPL though so I'm out for db's. A bit of sound proofing will help too, to keep the noise inside the car. Then I'll go for sound quality.
