It's already being exported mate, in the form of the Pontiac G8.

It also appears that HSV Clubsport R8s will now be exported to the Middle East badged as Chevrolet Special Vehicle CV8. I wonder if they look after their cars or trash them like most of their countrymen who are out here do? What is the lifespan of a car there? Who services them? Mind you, with petrol at the huge price of 4c per litre you'd always have your foot down, wouldn't you?

Yeh 4c a litre is excellent !! There is certainly a lot of wealth over there. I've seen lots of photos of the region with some real nice cars.

Whaaat 4c a litre?
I've just got a flash back of my old man telling me something like "Uno, back in my day, petrol was only 4c a litre. You could take a girl out to the movies and buy two choc-tops and get change back from 20c". And to think that this is still going on today over there, I thought we were supposed to be the lucky country:rolleyes:
I think i recall reading something recently that the holden caprice is one of the most popular cars over in the middle east due to its reliability in such a harsh environment and its performance.
