I just noticed a bit of a grindy whine at low revs and speed. Car park sort of driving. I first noticed it when I was braking at low speed so I turned my radio off to listen. I found it happened at the same speed and revs when speeding up too then it goes away regardless of brake usage.
Hard to tell but it seems to come from the front left but a vibration to the whine has built up over the past day or so that makes it harder to tell. The car goes back to the dealer next tuesday for a new windscreen and brakes under warrenty so ill get him to look at it then. I just dont have full confidence in their mechanic so if I can point out possibilities to him it would really help ease my mind and get it fixed and back to me faster.
When the diff was going in my ute many moons back it sounded similar but the sound came from the back where as this seems to be from the front. Wheel bearings? The brakes are being replaced due to warping could that be a contributor? Transmission? ha ha any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated
