Hi everyone,

My name is Michelle and I live on the Central Coast of NSW. I have owned and been driving my dream car (well almost the dream!) a VE SS 6-speed manual since October 2006. I have always owned a Holden starting with a '77 LH 6 cylinder auto Torana, then a '78 LX Torana 253, 5-speed manual. Then I had my children and moved onto a 1983 VH commodore. Poor old thing was run into the ground so I then updated to a '98 VT. She was a great car but 2005 was the year of the noisy tappets so decided to bite the bullet and purchase first ever brand new car! Wasn't sure about the finances but juggled a few things and managed to buy my beautiful, bad, black beastie!! Boy, do I loooove her!!!
Anyway, look forward to chatting to all you passionate commodore people and maybe join up for a few drive days!

Thanks Vixen! How many gals are there with Commodores? I know that a lot of guys that I talk to don't believe thatthis is actually MY car - they seem to think that it belongs to the hubby!

Thanks to you all for your welcomes. I'm pretty excited to have now found some keen commodore lovers like myself and am really looking forward to my first drive and am now very much keeping an eye out while driving around town for some of the other members from the Central Coast - especially ZWOODY and DAZ65W. Work at Newcastle a couple of days each week so will also be keeping an eye out for those from the northern end of the F3!!!

Hey, 'odd' is fantastic, love it. Welcome to this every increasing family. I'm not a gal who owns my own Commodore, probably never will, but the next best thing to having one, is loving the crazy owner of a commodore.
I don't reckon it's about cars, it's about the 'mateship', 'friendships' that are continually evolving.
The banter that rolls from one to the other is awesome.
U r in the right place at the right time, have a swell time, and perhaps u might attend a cruise here and there.
