GMH Paint codes and names

Ihave posted this elsewhere but i thought for future reference that maybe it should be here
This is the whole GMH list of colours codes and names and i thought it might be handy for some of you to have just in case any needs the name or to get touch up paint or would prefer another holden colour entirely

its quite funny to see what the name of the colours are mine is Botanica Blue Mica but my car looks green!!! when we were painting it the 1st coat was blue but once the 2nd coat went on it was green!!!

Your car looked green to me! Mine looks dark purple in some lights, lighter purple in some, and almost pink in others. Close up it looks like it's got glitter in it. They do a good job with most colours.

It's the same with the Ravens Mica.
Blue under some lights, black in the daylight and yet it can look deep purple in the direct sun.
Bloody nice colour though. :p

Yeh these colors are 2 or 3 stage pearl coat paints, thats why they go three colors right upto the harlequin base coats that goto 6-8 diff colors(that purple-orange-green-blue-red pearl) and ur all right bout what colors ur seein when it flips=botanica blue was called that cus botanica is like green/nature+ur blue.The phantom purple is 2x stage pearl also wt light purp+dark purp--the silver+glitter look is cus its got course silver mettalic as its main base tinter so that gives it the silvery/light n dark flips in its flip, Raven Mica is a 3 stage pearl that flips black then blue then purple n is harder again to paint. Pearls are ok on modern/some cars but other cars look pooy wt it,sometimes a normal perfect black or red or w.e can beat a pearl for looks(more so from VK n earlier bak-hate huge chevies painted in that 7 stage pearl color) cus the larger panel areas warp how the pearl flips then the way the whole car looks...Hey if stock car companys can paint cars in 15mins-pearl coat using a robot then means pearls are dime a dozen,just want ya's to think outside z box, k...
