Hey everyone, Is anyone else going to this event? It's on the 27th, 28th of Feb & the 1st of march.
If anyone is coming out & they want to catch up (or race me on the track...... :driving: :mexican_wave:) let me know & I'll send you my digits.
A cheer squad might be nice too........... :woot:

Ok, so I'm now only taking 8 tyres up with me, it turns out that during cruising sessions I have to roll on my Mags. :(
But 8 will still be providing plenty of entertainment!!!
Got some new additions to the car too, I'll try and get some pics up of the new bits & pieces when I get back.

Ok............... you guys are going to find out sooner or later, so I might as well just tell you now..........
Powercruise day 1 ended quite early for me in a dramatic way, unfortuantly my VR will not be driving back to canberra under it's own power............ in fact it will never be driving again!!!!

Once I'm back in canberra & I've had a chance to assess the total scale of the damage, I'll post up some videos of the crash (we had camera's both inside & outside) & let you all know just how bad it ended up being.
As Zwoody said, I am fine, race seats saved me from being thrown across the car & my helmet stopped my head from hitting anything solid. Unfortuantly it's going to be a very long time before I will be able to get another car on the road, let alone a commodore like this one.........

Wow, at least your 'Club Commodore', still holds it's head up. Sorry to hear and see, but I guess, we all know a re-model of a vehicle is possible. I glad that you managed to come through it well. I look forward to hearing your own story of what actually happened.

That sucks mate. As long as you're alright that's the main thing. Our pilots used to say 'any landing you can walk away from is a good one!!'
Going to suck being the only VR in the Canberra chapter again though. Hurry up and fix her!!

Hopefully you can salvage most of the car as parts, maybe put them onto another. At least the Club Commodore plate is in tact. **Jokes**

Thanks for the kind words everyone, Pusser I couldn't have said it better myself!!!! Any accident you can walk away from, is a good one. Cars can be rebuilt, people can't......
Again I can't stress enough just how big a part my Sparco seats played in keeping me safe & out of harms way. The next set will be mated up to a 5 point harness while I'm on the track, for that extra "piece-of-mind" protection.
I did get into where my car is being held today to have a better look @ the damage & see if I can get it started (To make life easier when it comes time tomorrow to load it onto the tralier). I must say, now that I've had a better look, it's alot worse than I first thought & I'm begining to wonder just how much will survive. Until I get it home but I won't be able to know the whole story.
Don't worry Vixen, the next one is going to eclipes this one ten fold!!! It's just going to take a little while......
