Thanks everyone. Even though I desperately wanted one of these, whenever I saw one I thought "nice car" but never entertained any thoughts of buying them. As soon as I saw this one I just had a vibe ( as in The Castle). Viola, it was mine!
Brilliant rhyming Tiger! I'm guessing the morpheous name is because the colour "morphs" from blue-ish, to purple-ish to pink-ish.

It's purty ain't it? SSmokin, the salesman told me this has more power than my VY, and I thought "nah", but omg, they were right. This car just wants to go. Shame I can't let it.
Again, thank you so much Matt. That's such a cool sig. :) I've seen a few black VE's with "black beauty" just above the front indicator, and I'm sort of kind of thinking about getting "purple power" for mine.

The SV6 has a 195kw 3.6litre engine, so you have plenty of power to break traction if you so desire. You should be able to keep up with anyone now. That's more power than most of the 5 litre HSV Commodores.

Woohoo, now all I need to do is learn how to do a fast take off. The friction point seems to be a bit hard to find in 1st. Someone said the traction control means I'll be able to do burnouts, someone else said it means I can't. Either way, I'm not about to try. Don't want to end up in the gutter like the dude at Harry's Cafe de wheels.

I'd appreciate learning how to get going a bit quicker. I've been tending to ride the clutch a bit. Apart from the time I bunny hopped. The laughter still haunts me.

Quicker starts are easy to teach you. Yeah keep your tyres, Ben has his own tyres that only last 4mins.

I like all of the VE colours. Purple was the one thing I wasn't willing to negotiate on though. Wow, hard to believe I've already put 14,000 km on the poor car already. How time flies when you're having fun driving a radical car. :D
