Are there any shady spots in park somewhere? My memeory is that there is not that much around but we may be able to grab some spots in the trees on the point.

Not really sure about parks etc.... Tiger. I'm sure though there will be somewhere where we can all sit down and maybe have a picnic type lunch rather than having to buy it.

Don't forget to throw a chair or two in your boot people.

Do you need an E Tag?

No E tag necessary between the meet point and the destination. But you may need one to get to the meet point.

Those coming from the west can get off the F4/M4 at Parramatta without needing an E tag and proceed through Auburn, Lidcombe, Bankstown , Menai and Sutherland to the meet point.

If coming from the South, get off the M5 at the Heathcote Road exit and turn right onto Heathcote Road. If you follow it all the way to the Prince's Highway it will bring you out at MacDonalds where we are meeting on the other side of the intersection.

Those coming from the North will probably need an E tag unless they want to avoid the harbour crossings.

as far as we know we comin down through blue mountains onto the M4 so do ya wanna meet somewhere on the way considering we not sure how to get to Heathcote

Nah mate myself, coolvs, hot94w don't have etags so cannot go on the m7 down that way and no credit cards either lol so no go for us down that way.. We are up for meeting up with anyone along the m4 like gkw suggested.. Andy - more than happy to meet up with the guys coming down the M4 and drive down with them to Heathcote. I'm going that way myself.

Can meet in the carpark of the Vauxhall Inn (Cnr Woodville Rd and Parramatta rd) - South Parramatta. Turn right of the M4 at Parramatta (Great Western Highway exit) and its right in front of you at the three way intersection. Be careful as there are five lanes and the two on the far left go the wrong way, so grab the third lane from the centre of the road, go across the intersection (i.e don't turn left) and then left into the car park once across the intersection.

Would aim for a 7.00am meet at the Vauxhall carpark (and leave shortly thereafter) to ensure 8.00am at Heathcote.

My apologies for not being able to make it and it sounds like we missed a really awesome day.
The diff in the car that myself and Munky pulled out Friday night, rebuilt and put back in on Saturday. It was a huge mission and many things got in our way and almost stopped us from completing it.
The LSD centre still needs some slight adjusting on the pinion, but shouldn't be too bad to do nut we did finish at twelve last night. So a huge thanks to Munky and i was just way too buggered and it's still not quiet right.
Will post some photos of the rebuild soon.

Was nice to have a short drive and park the cars, prop up the chairs and relax for a few hours on the beach/under the trees and just chill.

Really appreciate the effort you guys made and th distance traveled, awesome effort !

Andy, mine and Lisa's parents are OK, the fire near them is under control, thanks for asking. Lisa's uncle is fighting the one up near Narre Warren and has been for nearly two days now. At one stage his crew saved a house with just buckets as their tanker got called away to a larger firefront. Some bloke had a go at them for letting two other houses burn until a female police officer told him to "f**k off or I'll arrest you"!
God bless the CFA!! (and the Vic Police!)
