Hey heres some pics of my ride
these one are 3 months old i havent taken any new ones yet
since i got the car i have added 18" chrome rims
lowered
caprice dash
probably a week before xmas i will have statesman grange door trims

future plans will be
tinted windows
bodykit not sure which one as yet
full caprice interior
still deciding engine wise whether to supercharge the six or go the V8 option see what happens at that time lol

The window tinting alone will definitely add a great touch to the whole look of the car.
Nothing like darker windows on a black car.
Good luck with all the mods you want to do to her. She'll look a treat.

nah i dont not yet anyway have to find some but dont worry no way i am gona drill holes through these

just an update on the car
last saturday the engine decided to call it a day
2 weeks time will see the VS running a VY V6 wich i got hold of today (thanx michelle you done well lol)
so busy couple of weeks pulling the old one out and changing the intake manifold onto the VY motor (didnt think it would be so simple )
should run like a dream when its finished
oh how many kws does a VY engine have

just an update on engine progress
old engine is out of the car loaded on a ute to exchange for new one today
hopefully everything goes smooth if so should be up and running late this arvo or tommorow cant wait
have some photos on it at some stage this weekend

The VY has more kw's then the VS. It's up around 175kw's.

got the new one in but have to take the inlet manifold off because it appears water has run into the block through a split in the gasket so have to repair that and change a pulley and tune up a few more things

u got 152 kw at the flywheel and ay vs engine had 147 kw at the fly wheel, so u got 5 more kw, so ya might notice a diff, while got intake off as well, give it gud clean and if u want more power get it polished on the inside of it, and take the mesh out of the air flow meter its a restrictor :D

well i fixed the water leak problem so thats all good now
still havin dramas with the drivebelt vibrating
idling too fast
where the exhaust joins the manifold it leaks tried all i can think of to fix that nothin works
anyone have any extractors
engine seems a little rough just not sure whether thats piping probs or vacuum lines
other than that it is driving again so happy bout that

well car broke down again (not havin much luck)
car wont start looks like those 2 sensors on the throttle body have given up
on the goodside i have found out the probs i had
i need a new tensioner and one idler pulley
so just have to replace those three things and hopefully (fingers crossed) the vs will be on the road again

go see the people u bought engine off, or get a v8 throttle body so ya get more power

car finally running again i picked up a 69mm polished throttle body
just waitin for an idler pulley which i will have tomorrow and hopefully everything is finally spot on

WOOHOO!!! finally have the car running perfectly now i can concentrate on doing the front suspension and maybe upgrading brakes not sure on that one yet

nice clean ride bloke....glad to see its running again....i agree with vixen will look good with dark tint on dark paint....am trying to picture what colour you will paint your calipers and discs to match the theme....i will just have to wait and see lol....
