Charity Cruise for the New Born Intensive Care Unit, Canberra Hospital

Hey everyone,

There's another charity cruise in canberra next month raising money for the New Born Intensive Care Unit @ the canberra hospital.

Here are the details for it:

When: Sunday 16th November.
Where :Start at Phillip Ice skating rink car park, Irvine street Phillip.
Finish at Cotter.
Time: 11:00am @ Phillip.
Leaving there to cruise to Cotter at 12:00pm
1:00pm sizzle starts

Stickers are available on the day at $10 each, all money made from the stickers will be 100% donated to the NICU.

There will be a sausage sizzle & a raffle held at the Cotter as well.

It's open to all vehicle types (Cars, bikes, trucks, ect.)

Yeah they always seem to put them right on top of each other. I'm still trying to get my painter into gear, so I'm not sure just when it will be sorted out....... Either way I'll be at both of them.

I'll be in that Ben (unless it's the same weekend as the Bright Rod run. My in laws are going and we're apparently going to meet them there. Rather go to the Charity cruise though!!!)

Meet point will be at Scrivener Dam at 10.15a.m. Will be leaving for cruise meet point at 10.30a.m. If any problems please let me know.

Well all I just thought I'd let you all know it was a really good day yesterday. There where about 200 Cars turned out at the cotter for a BBQ after the cruise and an amazing $6,700 was raised for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit here at The Canberra Hospital. Myself ,Ben(blown355) and Katherine and Mick(pusser) and Lisa and all the kids went along for a really good day out. It was a very nice day weather wise too. We spoke to a few new prospective members, one of which is coming along on Sunday to meet some of you other members. His name is Steve. He drives a white VP SS which is in very good condition.

Can't wait until this weekend, hopefully a heap of prospects will turn up that I've been talking to lately. I'll try and get the photos up soon.

It was an awesome day for a great cause. Saw quite a few cars I hadn't seen before and got some good pics. Hopefully our combined efforts make some kids lives that bit easier!!
